The free tools run in your browser

All of our free tools — invoice and document generators, calculators, validators, QR/barcode generators and scanners — run entirely in your browser. The data you type (business details, customer details, amounts, GSTINs, UPI IDs, etc.) is processed on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.

Local storage

To save you time, the document tools can store your business “branding profile” (your business details, bank/UPI details and theme) in your browser's local storage on your device. You can clear this any time from your browser settings. It is never sent to us.

Camera access

The QR and barcode scanners ask for camera permission only when you start scanning. Video is processed locally to decode codes and is never recorded or uploaded.

Analytics & cookies

We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate usage of the website. We do not sell your personal data.

The mobile app

The SmartVyapaar mobile app has its own privacy practices described in the app and on its store listing, as the app stores your business data securely in the cloud to provide its features.
